About

Hello! I am the radio voice of the Iowa Hawkeyes Baseball program. Join myself and John Evans on the Hawkeye Radio Network for live broadcasts of Iowa Baseball beginning in mid-February through early June. In addition to being the voice of the baseball program, I work in the University of Iowa sports information department as the SID for the Hawkeyes’ cross country and track and field teams.

I began my broadcasting career in 2016, covering high school athletics in my hometown of Oelwein, Iowa. After high school, I attended the University of Iowa and studied Sport and Recreation Management, earning my Bachelor’s Degree in 2019.

While at Iowa, I spent time as a Sports Reporter for Daily Iowan TV. During my first year, I took on my first play-by-play duties with the Cedar Valley CourtKings in Waterloo. As my time at Iowa wound down, I joined On Press Row as an in-studio producer and co-host. OPR was a local sports talk radio show hosted by mentor Gary Rima. Following a nearly two year stint at OPR, I returned to Iowa to obtain my Master’s Degree and joined the student radio station as a play-by-play broadcaster. Promoted to Sports Director in the summer of 2021, I led the sports staff through play-by-play of Iowa Athletics, live shows and podcasts, and increased social media coverage.

In my free time, you can find me with friends and family, cooking, or traveling.
